Need clue? I give you a similar scenario now. A spider has got 8 legs but when it went swimming, it was left with 6. Again why? Hint: There is a connection/link to the main riddle. Good luck and happy guessing! You can post ur answers in the comments section :)
When asked my dad this, he came up with another one. A 8 legged spider when reached my house juntion, it's left with 7 legs, why? I couldn't guess the answer and when he revealed it, I couldn't stop laufing. My dad had a few more, all was from himself. Let u all guess later.One by one now...

i know the answer to the 1st riddle...
the bird fell and died because as it's thunder, it tends to be deafening. so, the bird used it's wings to cover it's ears. so with no wings left, the bird couldnt fly and it fell to the ground and sadly died... muahaha
the answer to the 2nd riddle...
the spider initially had 8 legs right. but u said when the spider went for a swim, the spider is left with only 6 legs...
it's because the spider was swimming backstroke and it used 2 of it's legs to shelter its eyes from the glaring sun...
damn i love it when i'm right...
haha...
and the answer to the 3rd riddle will be....
i'm not too sure about this...
but my guess is that initially the spider had 8 legs. but as it turned into a junction at your house, the spider is left with only 7 legs is because either your house or the drain outside or near the junction is smelly. so the spider used one leg to cover its nose... muaha
i got it all right, right....
